Requirements

  • 2 years of payroll experience preferred.
  • 2 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the employee’s first point of contact for questions related to payroll and benefits.
  • Perform a variety of payroll processing activities to ensure adherence to established operating procedures including annual compliance audits and reporting.
  • Coordinate processing of timecards including working with people managers to ensure time-keeping corrections and submissions are complete and accurate.
  • Maintain processes and systems to facilitate payroll activities including but not limited to deductions for garnishments, benefits (insurances, retirement plan, etc.) and other payroll deductions, W-2 processing, and accurate withholding tax payments for applicable local, state and federal agencies in ADP.
  • Bookkeeping, clerical and other administrative work relating to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Processing, distribution and maintenance of vendor invoices, disbursements, and financial records.
