About The Position

Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. (NYSE:SEI) provides scalable equipment-based solutions for use in distributed power generation as well as the management of raw materials used in the completion of oil and natural gas wells. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Solaris serves multiple U.S. end markets, including energy, data centers, and other commercial and industrial sectors. The System & Process Improvement Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence through process enhancements in our accounting and financial systems. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and a proven track record of improving accounting processes and reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred)
6+ years of experience in process improvement, with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience working with SAP S/4HANA Cloud (or SAP ECC with strong S/4HANA migration experience)
Extensive practical experience configuring, optimizing, and integrating accounting processes within SAP S/4HANA Cloud
Proven expertise in SAP FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), and integration with relevant modules
Strong background improving accounting processes (month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations) and enhancing reporting capabilities
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, advanced Excel)
Experience with process mapping tools and SAP project tools

Responsibilities

Lead process improvement initiatives focused on accounting systems and financial processes, with heavy emphasis on SAP S/4HANA Cloud
Analyze, design, and optimize end-to-end accounting processes (record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, etc.) within the SAP ecosystem
Drive the integration of accounting systems with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, including configuration support, data migration, and system enhancements
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current accounting workflows and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and SAP best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy
Partner with Operations teams to enhance accounting reporting, including automated dashboards, real-time reporting, and streamlined month-end close processes
Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounting systems
Facilitate cross-functional workshops with Finance, Operations, and IT to map current processes and design future-state SAP-enabled processes
Utilize SAP modules (FI, CO, and integration with MM/SD) to drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement
Monitor post-implementation performance and continuously refine accounting processes to ensure sustained improvements and compliance
Lead root cause analysis for accounting and reporting issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
Manage a portfolio of SAP-related process improvement projects, delivering on time with measurable ROI
Support change management to drive successful adoption of new SAP processes and reporting tools
Collaborate with external consultants to review and evaluate process improvement recommendations
Work with internal process owners across the company to manage and execute the implementation of recommended action plans
