About The Position

Kenwood Dealer Group has a need for an Accounting Clerk. Applicant is responsible for reviewing, reconciling, and correcting accounting schedules and working directly with management on accounting related tasks. Great attention to detail in a high-volume work environment is a must. Applicant will also cross train for other administrative positions in the future in addition to any other duties as assigned. Position will be located in our corporate office on Socialville-Foster near the Mason-Montgomery intersection.

Requirements

  • 2+ years accounting experience
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office, Excel, hands-on experience with spreadsheets.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail and being well organized
  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
  • Data entry and word processing skills
  • High school degree / GED
  • Must be 18 or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in automotive administration
  • Attention to detail; ability to multi-task
  • CDK experience; advanced computer skills
  • Associate�s degree or relevant certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile scheduled accounts
  • Provide accounting and clerical support
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • Function in accordance with established standards, and procedures
