Requirements

  • Proficiency in: Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Word
  • ERP software (Macola experience preferred)
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Frequent use of a computer keyboard and monitor.
  • Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to move throughout the manufacturing facility as needed.
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent accounting experience may be substituted.
  • 2–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing accounting experience is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP software is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Identify discrepancies and proactively work toward resolution.
  • Demonstrate initiative in improving accounting processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Macola experience preferred
  • Manufacturing accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
  • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
  • Prepare weekly payment batches.
  • Maintain vendor files and W-9 documentation.
  • Apply customer payments.
  • Assist with collections and account reconciliation.
  • Process customer credits and deductions.
  • Generate customer statements as needed.
  • Prepare journal entries.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with fixed asset recordkeeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Support the accounting team during month-end close and audit activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information.
