About The Position

The Bradford Group is a world leader in new product development, selling joy for over 50 years. Their global organization includes divisions in jewelry, apparel, collectible coins, home decor, and holiday products. They concept, create, design, and market products directly to customers and leverage entertainment and sports licenses. They are seeking an Accounting Clerk II responsible for reviewing and auditing accounts, distributing charges and credits, preparing journal entries for financial transactions (taxes, insurance, depreciation), auditing disbursement vouchers, and completing reconciliations while investigating and resolving unusual items.

Requirements

High school degree.
2 or more of years experience.
Familiar with standard Company accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with proficiency in Excel.
Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be organized and have good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Responsible for detail reporting service area of accounting (postage, intercompanies, inventory transactions).
Overseeing day-to-day transactions, verifying accuracy and general ledger posting, identifying, correcting discrepancies and handling bank reconciliations.
Other miscellaneous/administrative duties including department support functions such as filing, mail sorting and distribution, report distribution, etc.
