About The Position
This is the entry-level class in the Accounting series, characterized by bookkeeping and statistical record-keeping tasks. The eligible list created through this recruitment may be used to fill full-time or part-time regular, limited-term, or extra-help positions as vacancies occur throughout Solano County. The current vacancy is in the Sheriff's Office.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of full-time work experience in financial record-keeping that demonstrates the required knowledge and abilities. Three semester units or 4.5 quarter units in principles of accounting from an accredited college may substitute for half of the experience requirement.
- Demonstrate basic spreadsheet skills by passing a County-approved test.
