About The Position

The Accounting Associate records various journal entries for the general ledger. The role prepares accounting statements and reports, reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications, coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations, and divisions, and uses a computer to input, retrieve, or display accounting information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software.
• Strong aptitude for mathematics and analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software.

Responsibilities

• Record various journal entries for the general ledger.
• Prepare accounting statements and reports.
• Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
