About The Position

A task crew member performs and completes a variety of general labor tasks throughout the greenhouse under the direct supervision of a Manager and/or Crew Leader. The role is responsible for maintaining quality standards and productivity goals while keeping the work area safe. Work is primarily outdoors, with occasional work between locations and in an indoor office environment for administrative duties.

Requirements

• Ability to work and communicate across multiple departments.
• Ability to multitask and work as a team player.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and seek solutions.
• Ability to follow directions and perform tasks to company standards.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Ability to operate machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including the table lifter and internal vehicles, with required certification.
• Ability to work regularly at heights above 6 feet.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds unaided and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to stand, sit, squat, bend, reach, and twist for extended periods and on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies.
• Space plants on the ground.
• Move tables from one location to another.
• Clean, pinch, and cut plants.
• Operate table-moving equipment after receiving training and certification.
• Support hanging plants as needed.
• Complete provided task lists independently or as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
