About The Position

Goodwin Chevrolet Mazda is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join its centralized accounting team in Brunswick, Maine. The role supports accounting operations for the Brunswick dealership and other locations, including deal posting, reconciliations, accounts receivable, manufacturer billing, accounting schedules, and adjustments. Responsibilities

Post all deals for the Brunswick location and reconcile commissions.
Complete daily bank reconciliations for all five locations.
Manage accounts receivable across all locations.
Post manufacturer billing invoices and reconcile manufacturer statements for all locations.
Manage accounting schedules and post accounting adjustments as needed.
Cross-train and provide backup for other accounting positions as needed.
