About The Position

Perform activities in the Administrative/Finance area. These items may include but not limited to: Payroll Timekeeping, Benefits Administration, New Hire Enrollment and Orientation. Compile and keep personnel records. Record data for each associate, such as address, weekly earnings, and absences. Prepare reports for Management using pivot tables, prepare employment record reports, and file employment records. Conduct training and development programs for associates. Design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance.

  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including weekend days.
  • Must be able to work in a Warehouse Environment or Production Environment which may consist of walking on concrete floors, and wearing Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, being around moving machinery.
  • Must understand Payroll, FMLA, ADA, Medical Benefits, and Worker’s Compensation. Must stay current on changing regulations as well as pending legislation.
  • Must have a working background of 2 –3 years in Payroll Processing or Accounting.
  • Must have strong analytical abilities
  • AS/BA/BS in human resources/accounting/related field; or three (3) – five (5) years of working human resources with experience preferred
  • Able to interact professionally within the company with our customer and associates.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Maintains discretion when interacting with confidential/sensitive information and demonstrates impartiality.
  • This applicant will be required to pass a Microsoft Skills Assessment Placement Test.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in Dayforce/HRIS Programs is a Plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reports.
  • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
  • Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
  • Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities.
  • Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, training, performance evaluations, and employee leaves of absence.
  • Assist with the benefits and MUST be familiar with federal regulations surrounding Health Care Reform for Employers as well as Employees
  • Provides continue training and development on existing systems, and new systems
  • Must be proficient in the use of Xerox (Scanning, Copying, Emailing, Fax)
  • Assist with the administration, development and training of company policies and procedures
  • Support special projects and programs as assigned
  • Demonstrate and advise on proper techniques and practices
  • Must be able to follow specific instructions and pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines
  • Able to lead project teams and present information to management
  • Experience in planning and scheduling meetings and appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, maintaining projects, conducting research, and providing information
