About The Position

BPG Real Estate Services, LLC. is seeking an enthusiastic Accountant to join our team! In this role, you will be crucial in managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting our accounting functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred, or at least two years of related business experience.
  • Superior Microsoft Excel skills and excellent working knowledge of all MS-Office products are essential.
  • Experience with QuickBooks software is also required.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills are needed, with the ability to extract data from multiple sources and conduct financial analysis independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for professional interactions with employees, vendors, and company contacts, along with strong time management abilities to work independently.
  • Someone who strives to excel and takes initiative to identify improvements and efficiencies of internal processes and procedures; responsible for developing and managing updates of standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Performing daily reconciliations of cash across all operating bank accounts.
  • Executing day-to-day financial operations, including verifying accounts receivable data and preparing and posting supported journal entries for the General Ledger.
  • Monitoring and reviewing vendor and client payments, generating check requests, and processing check runs.
  • Preparing monthly P&L reports and weekly operating reports, conducting variance analysis, and reconciling general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
  • Assisting with the annual financial budget and working with managers to maintain accurate records.
  • Assisting in the audit process and undertaking special projects or tasks assigned.
