Requirements

• One year as a Fiscal Technician and 15 college credits in accounting; or Five years of bookkeeping experience; and 15 college credits in accounting; or One year of professional accounting experience and graduation from a four-year college or university, including or supplemented by 15 credits in accounting.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Able to perform essential job functions.
• Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing state and county budgets and related financial reports
• Post placement invoices and prepare federal and program-specific invoicing
• Prepare general ledger reports, trial balances, and journal entries
• Allocate placement expenditures and reconcile income and revenue items
• Conduct internal audits and review fiscal documents for accuracy
• Gather data for audits, maintain eligibility records, and oversee contract files
