Requirements

  • Two years as a Fiscal Technician and six college credits in accounting
  • Five years of bookkeeping experience and six college credits in accounting
  • Three years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting
  • One year of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Able to perform essential job functions
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearance (conditional offer)
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance (conditional offer)

Responsibilities

  • Complete reconciliations and prepare journal entries
  • Maintain fixed asset lists and update depreciation schedules
  • Process transfers and monitor available funds
  • Prepare, review, and verify vendor invoices
  • Compile recurring program and financial reports
  • Assist with budgets, audits, and fiscal procedures
