About The Position

Eclipse Automation delivers cutting-edge custom automated manufacturing solutions across multiple industries. Our global network includes facilities in Canada, the United States and Hungary ensuring regional expertise and global strength. This role involves processing month-end journal entries, HST and provincial remittances, day-to-day reporting, and monthly financials. Key responsibilities include processing month-end reconciliations, issuing project-based and other customer invoices, receiving and depositing cheques, performing cash applications, and forwarding invoices for approval. The role also entails maintaining company credit card programs, issuing new Amex cards for travel, and obtaining certificates of insurance. Project execution requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, teamwork, and adherence to company policies and ethical standards. Travel is expected to be less than 5%.

Requirements

  • Degree/diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or Bookkeeping or relative experience
  • 2 years of experience in project accounts receivable
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Sage 50 Accounting Software considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Month End journal entries in Sage
  • Process HST and provincial remittances monthly
  • Perform day to day reporting and monthly financials for Eclipse companies
  • Process month end reconciliations related to areas of responsibility
  • Issue project-based customer invoices as required
  • Issue other invoices as required
  • Receive and deposit cheques, and perform cash application in Sage
  • Forward invoices to project managers for approval
  • File approved invoices
  • Maintain the credit card programs for the company
  • Issue new Amex cards to employees who have been requested to travel
  • Obtain certificates of insurance from our provider to supply to customers and other business partners as required
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safely
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned
  • Ensure scheduled milestones are met
  • Notify the appropriate departments if milestones are not met
  • Adhere to the Eclipse Project Operating Policy
  • Maintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate Vision
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct Code
  • Foster the development of a culture reflective of the core values of the business
