Account Payable Representative - Shared Services

About The Position

The Accounts Payable Representative processes accounts payable invoices and payments for a group of Gray Media television stations. Shared Services Accounting handles accounting functions for all Gray-owned and operated TV stations. The representative is responsible for their assigned stations and backs up other AP team members’ stations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, or at the manager’s discretion.

Requirements

Previous Accounts Payable experience.
Strong computer skills.
Proficiency in Excel.
Working knowledge of accounting functions.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Scan invoices into the automated Accounts Payable system.
Enter vendor invoice details into the system.
Review and reconcile vendor and invoice details.
Reconcile vendor statements.
Process and disburse payments.
Work with internal and external customers to resolve discrepancies.
Manage individually assigned stations.
Back up other AP team members’ stations.
