About The Position

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for the processing of all accounts payable functions and accurate record maintenance. Together for Youth (TFY) is a community-based child welfare organization dedicated to creating positive, lasting change for children, youth, and families involved in the juvenile justice and child welfare systems across New York State. Serving communities in nearly 60 counties, we partner with families, schools, and community providers to meet young people where they are in their homes, schools, and communities. TFY provides a strong, steady foundation that helps youth and families heal from trauma, break negative cycles, and build pathways to opportunity. Through trauma-responsive and evidence-based practices, we empower young people to develop skills, strengthen relationships, and take an active role in shaping their futures. By supporting healing, accountability, and growth, Together for Youth creates lasting stability for families and stronger, more connected communities for generations to come. Stronger Communities New York (SCNY) reflects the combined administrative partnership between The House of the Good Shepherd (HGS) and Together for Youth (TFY). SCNY is not a separate organization; it simply represents the shared administrative functions and coordinated efforts of both agencies as they support children and families across New York State. HGS is based in Utica, NY, and TFY operates in Canaan, NY. This position provides recruitment support across both agencies within the SCNY framework. The Account Payable Clerk may be based in either Hudson or Albany and will follow the policies, benefits, and compensation structure of Together for Youth, as outlined in the TFY employee handbook.
