Join Mimecast's rapidly growing Customer Development team, a high-velocity sales environment that focuses on managing and expanding existing accounts. We are looking for a self-motivated, team-oriented individual with strong sales skills and a proven track record of success in upselling and retaining customers. This is a territory based role, with the ideal candidate living in Southern California.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Understanding of corporate IT teams, their buying processes, and the corporate technology stack.
  • Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Self-starter with a dynamic, confident presentation style and a “can-do” attitude.
  • Adaptability, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
  • A thirst for knowledge and a proactive approach to learning and applying new skills.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and able to critically assess personal and team performance.
  • Tenacious and comfortable in a high-performance, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual upsell revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute account and sales activity plans to meet revenue quotas.
  • Drive additional revenue by selling new technology to current customers.
  • Work with the Partner/Channel Development team to execute account plans.
  • Manage KPI reporting and CRM housekeeping.
  • Follow and implement end-to-end sales processes.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and customer meetings.
  • Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
