About The Position

We are looking for an experienced an Account Manager - Mid Market who has a knack in building deep customer relationships and driving incremental business in existing Freshworks customers by delivering value. They should have a consultative sales approach, a successful track record growing and on-boarding clients with polished presentation skills. This person must demonstrate all the behaviors associated with a high performance sales culture, specifically managing a pipeline of business opportunities and delivering results against a quota. This individual will provide the best sales experience possible for our customers. The candidate should be a self-starter with a “GROWTH MINDSET” who has a willingness to learn and adapt in any situation. She / He should be prepared to develop and execute against an account plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets and have a strong can-do attitude in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will possess both sales and technical expertise along with engagement skills from a CXO level to technical and operations staff. The Account Manager will be an exceptionally strong analytical thinker who thrives in fast paced dynamic environments with good communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS or solution-based sales, account management, or customer-facing roles with track record of success in an aligned territory.
  • Curiosity, collaboration adaptability: you’re open to learning and comfortable navigating change.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers, including senior leaders, exceeding goals, with a focus on long-term value creation.
  • You are a relationship builder, with great presentation skills. You listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and connect product capabilities to business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • exposure to CRM, EX, CX, or ITSM solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Grow key accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and renewals, consistently surpassing revenue goals while delivering meaningful impact for customers.
  • Build trust with executives by addressing critical challenges and positioning Freshworks as a partner that drives measurable business results.
  • Lead complex sales cycles end-to-end, securing strategic wins and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Champion collaboration across teams to uncover opportunities, strengthen retention, and expand customer success.
  • Build a strong, future-ready pipeline with accurate forecasting and consistent execution.
  • Travel, as required, to connect in person, foster relationships, and represent Freshworks with purpose.
