About The Position

OLIVER is seeking an Account Manager to manage the day-to-day relationship between marketing teams and the OLIVER studio across one or more business units. This role involves brief management, project tracking, stakeholder communication, and ensuring the smooth flow of work through the OMG system. The Account Manager will partner with Integrated Project Managers in Mexico City to meet production milestones and resolve issues proactively. Based in Baltimore, MD, this position is part of a three-person Account Management team supporting the Business Director in a high-volume content production operation. The role requires seamless integration into the client's business and evolving needs, thriving in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments. OLIVER supports flexible working arrangements and offers reasonable adjustments throughout the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Experience in an account management, client services, or project management role in a creative, marketing, or content production environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams without losing detail or momentum
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills — comfortable with direct client interaction at marketing manager and director level
  • A proactive, solutions-first working style; you flag problems early and come with a suggested path forward
  • Familiarity with project management or workflow systems (OMG, Workfront, Asana, or similar)
  • An understanding of creative production workflows — briefing, resourcing, review, and delivery — in a multi-channel content environment
  • Comfort working across a multi-location team and collaborating remotely with nearshore colleagues in Mexico City
  • Agentic mindset: ability to break down complex multi-brief workloads into clear, manageable priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in or familiarity with higher education or healthcare marketing is a plus
  • Curiosity about how AI tools can enhance account management and creative production workflows
  • Willingness to develop proficiency with Pencil and OMG's AI-assist features as part of ongoing studio development

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of active briefs across one or more business units — from brief intake through delivery — ensuring all projects are tracked, resourced, and delivered to agreed SLAs
  • Build strong working relationships with marketing stakeholders, acting as a responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive day-to-day contact
  • Work within OMG to raise, track, and close briefs; maintain up-to-date project status information and support proactive alerting on potential bottlenecks
  • Partner with Integrated Project Managers (Mexico City) to coordinate production milestones, manage dependencies, and ensure seamless cross-location delivery
  • Support the preparation of weekly status reports and QBR documentation under the guidance of the Business Director
  • Manage stakeholder expectations around timelines, creative scope, and delivery — communicating clearly, proactively, and without jargon
  • Review briefs for completeness and clarity before routing to the creative and production team; escalate ambiguities promptly
  • Track and flag scope changes, version control issues, or resourcing risks to the Business Director and Program Director
  • Contribute to the studio's insider culture: present, curious, and deeply engaged with university brands, programs, and priorities

Benefits

  • Flexible working arrangements
