About The Position

The Account Manager - Central Region will be responsible for cultivating strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, developing strategies to maximize sales revenue, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products or services. This role also involves identifying and pursuing leads for potential new clients, conducting market research, and tailoring solutions to meet their requirements. The Account Manager will negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements to close sales deals while ensuring profitability. They will act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support. Collaboration with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support is crucial for coordinating efforts and delivering exceptional service. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate records of sales activities, preparing regular reports on sales performance, and forecasting future sales trends. Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and product improvement is also a key responsibility. Specific responsibilities include managing new sales, customer accounts, quoting, continuous learning of technical skills related to ESPs, ESP system design, reviewing application designs, attending failure review meetings, leading optimization efforts, and undertaking other projects or assignments as needed.

Requirements

  • A proven track record in sales, preferably a minimum of two years of ESP, artificial lift, or oilfield experience in a B2B environment, with a strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, understand their needs, and provide effective solutions.
  • Clear and persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong analytical critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in ESP system design, using sales CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools for sales management, reporting, and ESP system design.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing market conditions, customer preferences, and company priorities to achieve sales targets.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree or two plus years of relevant ESP experience.
  • A minimum of two years of sales account management preferred.
