About The Position

The role of the Account Manager will consist of both sales and account management on a day-to-day basis. The Account Manager will spend a majority of their time interacting with the internal engineering team, as well as with outside stakeholders and customers. This role works closely with outside sales agents to manage contracts. Zero Impact Solutions (ZIS) is the execution arm of the Zero Impact Energy platform, focused on delivering EV charging and energy infrastructure projects across California and expanding nationally. ZIS specializes in full lifecycle project delivery, with proven experience across design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and long-term service. Our team operates as a licensed C-10 electrical contractor with in-house crews and established relationships with utilities, AHJs, and key project stakeholders. We focus on high-demand infrastructure supporting electrification, including: EV charging infrastructure for commercial, fleet, and public deployments Fleet electrification projects requiring scalable, multi-unit installations Site design, power upgrades, and utility coordination Construction, installation, and commissioning of charging systems Ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and uptime support As part of a vertically integrated platform, ZIS works closely with engineering, hardware, software, and operations teams to deliver projects efficiently and at scale. This structure allows us to move faster, reduce project risk, and maintain accountability across every phase of deployment. We are actively delivering projects across California with the capability to support multi-site rollouts and complex infrastructure environments. ZIS is built for execution. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales support role.
Comfortable working under strict deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
Excellent technical and communication skills.
Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Experience creating detailed reports and delivering presentations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet.
Proven track record of following through on commitments.
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 years of experience in business analysis or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and manage client accounts and projects.
Attend company meetings and presentations with stakeholders.
Collaborate with clients to determine product or service requirements.
Develop project plans to meet client goals and objectives.
Research and understand State and Federal rebate programs and how they will benefit the customer.
Build relationships with clients to ensure brand and project success.
Create a pleasant experience for clients by coordinating with marketing and customer service to provide solutions.
Provide regular updates, respond to inquiries, and address any client concerns in a timely manner.
Maintain a consistent line of communication with the internal engineering team and outside agencies.
Monitor and manage the scope of the project from inception to handoff.
Oversee the development of new client relationships.
Ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Be comfortable pivoting your time and energy between multiple accounts each day.
Perform other duties as assigned.
