About The Position

The Account Manager oversees day-to-day event security operations and works closely with the Area Manager/Regional Director to support efficient operations, strong customer experiences, and a capable event workforce. The role is primarily office-based but includes frequent work at events in indoor and outdoor environments. Weekend and evening on-call availability is required, along with travel up to 25%. Compensation is $50,000–$55,000 per year. The position is based in Saginaw, Michigan.

Requirements

Previous experience in events, crowd management, or convention centers.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
At least 3 years of experience in operations, service, field, or project management.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, walk, stand, climb, and work in various weather conditions.

Experience in event staffing, security, sports management, or athletics.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations, including recruiting, hiring, licensing, training, scheduling, and event-day execution.
Build and manage staffing plans, track budgets, and ensure payroll and invoicing accuracy.
Coach, mentor, and develop the operations team.
Improve the customer experience through proactive communication, regular check-ins, and service improvements.
Partner with leadership to develop more effective operating strategies.
Ensure staffing needs are met on time and within budget.
Maintain accurate records and reports for internal and external use.
Be available for weekend and evening on-call needs and travel up to 25%.
Perform additional duties as needed.
