About The Position

Omaha National is seeking an Account Manager to join its growing team. The position is trained to complete premium audits for recently expired workers’ compensation policies. Audits involve contacting clients to request payroll and tax records, interviewing clients about their operations and employee duties, and classifying and summarizing payroll data to complete audits in accordance with Bureau rules. Prior payroll or workers’ compensation experience is not necessary; training is provided. Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good judgment.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply rules from various manuals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software, and aptitude to learn other software applications.

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Communicate orally and in writing with clients to request payroll and tax records.
Conduct phone interviews to obtain descriptions of client operations and employee duties.
Use manuals to determine the applicable exposure base and classifications.
Review and analyze payroll, tax, and accounting records to determine which payroll is included in premium calculations.
Create audit reports summarizing workers’ compensation exposure by class code.
Discuss classifications with clients and resolve disputes.
