About The Position

US Farathane is seeking a results-driven Sales Account Manager to support and grow our Ford Business Unit. This high-visibility, growth-focused role requires an automotive sales professional with deep experience supporting Ford. The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships, driving strategy, and delivering results to directly impact business success. Requirements

  • 5+ years of automotive account management or sales experience, with direct Ford customer exposure
  • Strong understanding of the Ford customer landscape and expectations
  • Proven ability to drive growth, manage complex accounts, and influence outcomes
  • Highly effective communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on, results-driven approach
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Experience in plastic injection molding or manufacturing preferred
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead point of contact for Ford customer accounts, ensuring strong, responsive communication.
  • Drive revenue growth by expanding existing business and identifying new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with Ford stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with growth objectives.
  • Manage sales forecasting and key account metrics, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver results.
  • Lead efforts to close commercial issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Help identify new opportunities through a targeted growth approach.
  • Champion new technologies and innovation opportunities with the customer.
  • Support annual piece price adjustments where applicable.
  • Contribute to VA/VE initiatives and leverage internal engineering resources.
  • Track and manage opportunity pipelines using structured growth frameworks.
  • Maintain awareness of OEM expectations and supplier performance criteria.
