About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team at Kendall Ford in Vancouver. This role is in a fast-paced sales department serving the community. The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing the sales department through coaching and supporting salespersons. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and proven success in automotive sales.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of Dealership Sales Management experience.
  • Valid driver license and good driving record.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to work extended hours often without advanced notice.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Completes work in a timely fashion.
  • Superior customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Treat clientele with the utmost respect.

Responsibilities

  • Growing the sales department through coaching and providing support to the Salespersons.
  • Working directly with the sales staff to assist in closing sales.
  • Actively participating in vehicle price negotiation.
  • Appraising incoming vehicles.
  • Conducting sales meetings and trainings.
  • Supervising sales staff ensuring policy and procedure compliance.
  • Stocking an efficient and profitable vehicle inventory.
  • Planning, organizing, and controlling dealership sales activities.
  • Maintaining knowledge and complying with laws and regulations affecting vehicle sales.
