About The Position
TLS is seeking an experienced Account Manager with a background in freight brokerage. If you're passionate about building strong customer relationships, growing existing accounts, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.
Requirements
- Previous experience in freight brokerage and/or third-party logistics (3PL)
- Proven success managing customer relationships and growing business
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple shipments and customers in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and a team-oriented attitude
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established portfolio of customer accounts
- Develop new business opportunities through relationship building and strategic outreach
- Coordinate daily freight movements by working closely with carriers and customers
- Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining service excellence
- Deliver outstanding customer service and proactive communication
- Collaborate with an experienced team to ensure successful shipments and long-term customer satisfaction
