DC Based Account Manager

Pathpoint, Inc•Washington, DC
•$159,000 - $189,000•Onsite

About The Position

Pathpoint is seeking an Account Manager to own and grow a sales territory, with the primary goal of generating written premium. The role carries a written premium target and gives the Account Manager autonomy to set the territory plan, build the pipeline, and determine how to achieve that target. The territory includes established agency partners to grow and qualified high-potential agencies to prospect; the focus is on building a durable book of business rather than starting a distribution network from scratch. The Account Manager will serve as the primary contact for producing agencies, develop new agency relationships, manage the full sales cycle, and maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast in Salesforce. The position also requires strong knowledge of the market, carriers, and product appetite, and collaboration with underwriting, operations, marketing, and product teams to share field feedback. This is a DC-based role with investment in in-person collaboration. The expected starting base salary is $103,000–$123,000, with variable compensation tied to territory goals and performance. Expected on-target earnings are $159,000–$189,000 at 100% of goals, with accelerated earnings for attainment above 100%. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications; the total rewards package also includes equity and employee benefits. Pathpoint cannot provide visa sponsorship for this position.
