About The Position

PIC is a growth-focused marketing agency seeking an Account Manager to own client relationships, coordinate projects, and turn strategy into action. The role is also known in some agencies as Client Success Manager or Marketing Project Manager. The Account Manager works at the intersection of client communication, project coordination, and strategic thinking, collaborating with specialists while taking accountability for the overall client experience. The position serves as the primary contact and trusted guide for a portfolio of clients across industries and service mixes. It involves understanding clients’ goals, challenges, and internal dynamics; translating their needs into clear direction for internal teams; and communicating progress and roadblocks to clients. The Account Manager facilitates PIC’s Hero Mission Strategy® to align marketing efforts with the customer journey. Working with strategists and channel specialists in SEO, paid media, content, development, and design, the Account Manager helps shape and execute marketing plans, ensures work is scoped and prioritized clearly, monitors performance, and guides optimization discussions. The role also leads recurring client meetings, coordinates reporting and insights, responds to client questions and requests, and identifies appropriate opportunities to expand or refine services. Internally, the Account Manager keeps projects, timelines, and expectations organized, uses Asana and Harvest to track work and progress, and contributes to improving processes as PIC grows. PIC has been helping businesses grow through inbound marketing and digital strategy for 25 years. Its team includes more than 20 full-time developers, designers, strategists, and marketers working across time zones. PIC describes its approach as “Walk With You” marketing, based on shared accountability and open communication.
