About The Position
McCarty Equipment, a SunSource company, is a highly recognized value-added distributor and fabricator of hose. With 17 locations across North America, we provide a wide range of hose, valves, gaskets, fittings and tools. We have the capability to provide support for all your industrial and MRO needs with a vast array of tools, hand tools, fasteners, consumables, and a factory authorized tool repair facility. The Grow Our Own (GO2) – Account Manager Training Program is a 12-month development program designed for recent graduates interested in a career in technical sales. This dynamic program sets individuals up for success and a long-term career by providing comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and dedicated mentorship, preparing them to transition into a full-time sales role in an assigned territory, in the Abilene, TX area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Mechanical and/or Electrical interest and aptitude.
- Willingness to relocate for training (12+ months) and for final placement at completion of program.
- Competitive in nature with a passion for winning and a commitment to delivering top results in a performance-based environment.
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Sales, or related field is a plus.
- Coursework, training or certifications in Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering is a plus.
- Ability to be conversive in Spanish is a plus
- Internship or co-op experience in a sales/distribution or manufacturing environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Participate in structured paid training at our headquarters in Orlando, where you will receive ongoing mentorship, professional development, and in-depth product training
- Learn full cycle outside sales and relationship building skills with new and existing customers
- Work alongside experienced Account Managers during onsite customer visits
- Learn about the latest industrial technology, and how to apply it to real world applications
