About The Position

The Partners Group (TPG) is seeking a property and casualty professional to join their Personal Lines team as an Account Manager. This role involves serving as a trusted resource for clients, assisting them with coverage decisions, policy changes, claims, and evolving insurance needs. The Account Manager will conduct renewal reviews, identify opportunities to strengthen coverage, and play a direct role in client retention and satisfaction. This position will support two producers and ensure their growing book of business receives responsive, high-quality service. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping clients feel informed and confident about their insurance decisions, combining technical expertise with a consultative approach.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager, preferably with an independent insurance agency
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (AMS360 strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with carriers such as Liberty Mutual, Chubb, PURE, Cincinnati, Travelers, Progressive, Foremost, Arrowhead, and Geovera
  • Comfortable making policy changes on carrier websites; quoting auto, home, and umbrella
  • Experience using a personal lines rater (PL Rater strongly preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain coverage clearly to clients
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple clients’ needs effectively
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting farm and ranch insurance clients
  • Proven ability to build long-term client relationships that result in referrals and renewals
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills within agency systems
  • Ability to balance multiple requests under tight deadlines
  • Self-sufficient and comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Ability to use generative AI and other digital tools to support job related tasks such as research, drafting, analysis, summarization, planning, and problem solving, while exercising sound judgment, verifying accuracy, and adhering to company policies and ethical guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Manage policy changes, coverage questions, and billing inquiries
  • Conduct annual policy reviews and recommend coverage solutions
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and retention
  • Partner with producers, carriers, and internal teams to support client needs
  • Maintain accurate account documentation and activity records
  • Support client outreach, referral, and retention initiatives
