We’re seeking a Partner Account Manager I to join the InComm Partner Solutions (IPS) team, managing a high-volume portfolio of closed-loop gift card partners, including smaller and emerging brands. You will build and maintain partner relationships, support reliable program execution, analyze performance, and identify practical opportunities to retain and grow business. You will develop proficiency in gift card distribution, sales analysis, inventory positioning and forecasting, and program development and implementation. Success requires balancing partner needs with portfolio priorities, using data to focus your efforts, and working effectively with internal teams. This account management role combines hands-on portfolio ownership with opportunities to strengthen your skills through training, coaching, and shared problem-solving. Requirements

  • 0–3 years of relevant account management experience.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting customers, partners, or business projects and communicating results or recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures, identify recurring issues, and recommend practical process improvements.
  • Ability to contribute to team projects, including event coordination and process improvements.
  • Ability to evaluate account performance and identify practical growth opportunities through product expansion, promotions, or program enhancements.
  • Commitment to understanding partner needs, setting realistic expectations, and following through on agreed actions.
  • Ability to analyze sales reports, identify trends, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • Clear written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a willingness to develop confidence in partner discussions and business reviews.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, including maintaining accurate account records.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a high-volume workload, manage competing requests, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to listen attentively, investigate account issues, coordinate timely resolution, and recognize when escalation is needed.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned accounts and coordinate follow-through across internal teams.
  • Ability to manage routine account activity within established guidelines, exercise sound judgment, and seek input from peers and management on unfamiliar situations or more complex decisions.
  • Comfort learning new technology, systems, product lines, and industry processes.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

  • Familiarity with SharePoint, PowerPoint, or Power BI is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • This role owns an assigned partner portfolio. The focus is to maintain and retain relationships, support program performance, and pursue growth opportunities through an efficient, scalable account management approach.
  • Develop and manage an assigned portfolio of partners, serving as the primary account contact and helping implement gift card strategies that reach more customers and grow revenue.
  • Coordinate partner onboarding and new product launches, working with internal teams and partners to track requirements, timelines, and follow-through.
  • Identify and recommend revenue growth opportunities through product expansion, promotional marketing, and program enhancements, considering partner readiness, business requirements, and expected return.
  • Manage account data, logistics coordination, reporting, and other operational activities needed to support accurate and timely program execution.
  • Analyze sales reports, identify trends, and forecast and manage inventory. Prepare and conduct strategic business reviews appropriate to partner size, opportunity, and business needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Account Management, Sales, and Operations to coordinate partner requests and resolve issues. Communicate clear status updates, expectations, and next steps.
  • Prioritize account activity based on business impact, opportunity, risk, and deadlines. Use established processes and shared tools to manage recurring needs efficiently and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Evaluate opportunities to expand retail and B2B distribution of physical and digital gift card products, and recommend additional product offerings aligned with partner goals and distribution requirements.
