This Account Manager – HVAC Industrial role is a great fit for experienced HVAC Sales Professionals with previous exposure to Industrial applications who love to hunt for new business while supporting an existing client portfolio. Carrier is looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building relationships, and provide outstanding customer service. This is the ideal role for those that are results-oriented and are adept at assessing and understanding both the immediate and future needs of customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry or in related technical fields such as automation, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or industrial engineering (in sales, technical support, or after‑sales service).
  • 3+ years of experience working with industrial systems or solutions, either within an industrial environment or through selling into industrial companies.
  • Candidates based in Ontario must be fluent in English, and candidates based in Quebec must be fluent in both French and English.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Sales Territory and Account plans where necessary
  • Sell the full portfolio of Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions (i.e. service agreements, repairs and modernizations) to Industrial customers
  • Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline
  • Seek out or respond to repair opportunities
  • Clearly articulate the value of Carrier’s value offerings and how they map to the customers’ needs
  • Ability to detect the Customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordingly.
  • Responding to the customer requirements in a timely manner
  • Ability to consistently achieve sales metrics and Annual Targets
  • Effectively negotiate service agreement renewals when required.
  • Ability to sell directly to end user customer.
