About the position
The Account Manager, Corporate role at AlphaSense is responsible for developing strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders to retain and grow the customer base. They serve as the main point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, engagement, updates, and renewals. The Account Manager collaborates with account executives to identify new business opportunities and works across industries and verticals. They also extract valuable knowledge from clients to enhance the company's strategy and communication. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, a subject matter expert, energetic, creative, and committed to delivering results. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with clients at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for inbound queries, outbound engagement, relationship updates, and renewal discussions with corporate clients
- Develop three-dimensional relationships with customers and key stakeholders to effectively retain and grow the customer base
- Collaborate with account executives to identify new business opportunities and expand the company's footprint within each client account
- Maximize retention rate across the book of business
- Increase and drive adoption of AlphaSense solutions into other business units of existing clients to uncover new opportunities and exceed revenue goals
- Identify revenue at risk and prevent churn
- Forecast retention rates
- Understand the business, roles, responsibilities, projects, and performance metrics within the client base to effectively communicate with users and decision makers, identify white space, and craft compelling messaging to prospective users
- Cultivate relationships with users and stakeholders
- Extract knowledge from clients and bring it internally to maximize the effectiveness of the company's strategy and communication
Requirements
- Strong ability to develop instant rapport with new people and manage and grow relationships within Fortune 1000 clients
- Subject matter expert with strong business acumen and commitment to effective processes and tactics
- Natural intellectual curiosity with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Understanding of best practices for client engagement within a SaaS environment
- Committed to delivering results with grit, work ethic, initiative, enthusiasm, and commitment
- Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills to communicate with various stakeholders
- Maximize retention rate across the book of business
- Drive adoption of AlphaSense solutions into other business units of existing clients to uncover new opportunities
