About The Position

This position reports to the Sales Manager and is responsible for the sales of ABB's low and medium voltage electrical equipment within the El Paso - Albuquerque Trade Areas, in line with the division strategy. The role involves achieving qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. The Account Manager will also identify and develop new sales opportunities. While this is a remote position, successful candidates will be based in the El Paso, TX, or Albuquerque, NM NEMA Trade Area(s). This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings Division in the United States.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university / college and 5+ years of sales experience, OR, GED with 8+ years of sales experience.
Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling commercial, industrial and residential products to electrical contractors.
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry / ABB products.
Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Customer focused mindset with ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
Able to travel throughout the territory as needed.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
