The Account Executive will partner with clients to understand their objectives, develop strategies integrating performance-driven digital solutions with the USA TODAY Network's reach, and achieve measurable outcomes. This position is part of a team focused on driving real business growth through a tailored mix of solutions, not just selling products. The role is consultative and relationship-driven, involving full sales cycle ownership from prospecting to account growth, and requires both hunting for new business and managing existing client relationships. Responsibilities include creating tailored marketing strategies, guiding clients from initial contact through ongoing performance discussions, and identifying opportunities to deepen partnerships. The Account Executive acts as a trusted marketing partner, balancing new business development with retention, upsell, and account expansion to maximize long-term client value. A post-sales team handles campaign performance, optimization, and reporting, with additional support from Data and Insights teams, Client Strategists, and product-specific resources. The first 90 days focus on gaining proficiency in LocaliQ's solutions, tools, and sales approach, developing prospecting and discovery habits, and ultimately owning the territory and sales cycle end-to-end with necessary support and coaching.
