About The Position

The Account Executive develops and executes sales plans for building automation and controls opportunities. The role focuses on identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities, prospecting new accounts, and expanding relationships with existing customers and targeted vertical markets. It uses controls opportunities to open doors while identifying broader mechanical and service needs. The position reviews plans, specifications, and field conditions; defines project scopes; estimates building management system (BMS) projects; and prepares proposals covering pricing, labor, materials, subcontractors, vendors, and the financial value of recommended solutions. The Account Executive applies knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, energy management, and smart-building technologies to recommend practical, efficient solutions aligned with customer goals. The role coordinates internally on opportunities involving mechanical equipment, planned maintenance, service, repair, replacement, or related project work. It leads meetings, site walks, pre-bid meetings, presentations, RFP responses, negotiations, and follow-up from opportunity development through project close, communicating technical concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. The position also develops service agreements, planned maintenance opportunities, controls agreements, system upgrades, repairs, retrofits, and account-based pull-through work where applicable.
