This role involves planning, designing, developing, and implementing sales activities by researching customer needs and requirements. The Account Executive will focus on retaining existing clients while acquiring new customers, ensuring all sales and marketing activities are within agreed budgets, volume, sales, and time scales. The position requires taking initiative to develop solutions for issues that may slow down export procedures and activities, and to review distributor performance and provide relevant information to management. Attending meetings with other companies to negotiate for business growth and development is also a key responsibility. Market research, competitor analysis, and developing new plans to stay ahead in the competition by prioritizing target countries are essential. The role includes proposing and negotiating sales, pricing, and terms to assigned and new customers, analyzing product purchasing options, and conducting plant visits to ensure supplier compliance. Active participation in training sessions to improve knowledge and skills, developing close working relationships with key decision makers at target accounts, and being responsible for all sales results, A/R collections, and pricing/margin management within assigned accounts are critical. Attendance at trade shows and exhibitions is also expected.
