About The Position

In this role, you will drive the growth and development of Xero's commercial relationships with accounting and bookkeeping partners within your designated territory. By collaborating closely with these partners, you will help them design and execute a clear digital strategy to modernise their practices, delivering positive outcomes for their business while expanding Xero's subscription base. Your day-to-day impact involves managing your territory effectively, identifying new opportunities, and helping small businesses thrive by connecting them with cloud technology. You will play a vital part in building a stronger economy by empowering our partner community and expanding our network of certified experts. You will join a collaborative and performance-driven sales team focused on mutual success and partner enablement. The team works seamlessly alongside technical specialists and partner services to deliver complete workflow solutions and build vibrant communities. Together, we share insights, celebrate achievements, and support one another to achieve collective growth targets. Initially, you will focus on engaging with new and existing accounting partners to guide their transition to online and cloud-based practices, executing quarterly plans to establish a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities, utilising Salesforce to maintain high account hygiene and track outbound activity, and facilitating partner recruitment events, training webinars, and workshops to strengthen the community.

Requirements

  • Successful background in sales, preferably within a fast-paced technology or SaaS company.
  • Natural ability to build rapid rapport and establish strong relationships with accounting partners.
  • Solutions-driven mindset along with the initiative to work autonomously and take ownership of processes.
  • Solid understanding of the inner workings and software systems of an accounting practice or SME platform.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for consultative selling and articulating value based on unique partner needs.
  • Collaborative spirit, eager to work alongside technical teams and facilitate community events.
  • Skills, passion, and unique perspective to enhance culture and team.
