The Account Executive will partner with clients to understand their objectives, develop strategies integrating performance-driven digital solutions with the USA TODAY Network's reach, and achieve measurable outcomes. This position is part of a team focused on driving real business growth through a tailored mix of solutions, rather than just selling products. The role is consultative and relationship-driven, suitable for individuals who enjoy managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting new business to nurturing long-term account growth, and who excel in both hunting for new clients and managing existing ones. Responsibilities include actively seeking new business, managing and expanding a client portfolio, creating customized marketing strategies, guiding clients from initial contact through performance discussions, and identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships. The Account Executive acts as a trusted marketing advisor, balancing new business development with client retention, upselling, and account expansion to maximize long-term client value. The role is supported by a post-sales team for campaign performance, optimization, and reporting, as well as additional resources like the Data and Insights team and Client Strategists. The first 90 days will focus on gaining proficiency with LocaliQ's solutions, tools, and sales approach, developing prospecting and discovery habits, and ultimately owning the territory and sales cycle with ongoing support and coaching.
