Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of Account Management/Wholesale or Retail Buying/Planning experience
  • Footwear experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills- detail oriented & self-motivated
  • Solid understanding of retail math including mark-up, sell-through, OTB and gross margin
  • Excel proficiency required (v-lookup, pivot table, build running templates, etc.)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of wholesale footwear & jewelry accounts
  • Maintain and grow existing relationships with accounts
  • Lead weekly business communication with accounts, highlighting key wins, challenges, and next steps.
  • Recommend reorders, style additions or removals, and markdown strategies to maximize productivity and profitability.
  • Present seasonal collections during market appointments, ensuring brand positioning and assortment alignment.
  • Review EDI report daily for accounts managed, work with CS/accounts directly in rectifying order issues
  • Achieve monthly shipping and financial targets
  • Market Hindsight prior seasons to create and drive strategies; lead pre-assortment and post-assortment reviews with Sales teams and Planning teams
  • Prepare and lead market appointments, including assortment selection, financial review, and pre‑market meetings with your accounts
  • Submit and manage seasonal orders, ensuring accuracy and timely updates across internal partners.
  • Secure replenishment orders/projections by account at time of market
  • Run and analyze business reporting to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Partner with Planning on sales forecasts, inventory management, and OTB alignment.
  • Build tools and processes that improve efficiency and support data‑driven decision‑making.
