About The Position

The Account Executive builds a book of business by generating new business revenue and developing referral relationships with professionals in the real estate and mortgage industries. The role involves working with clients to understand their insurance needs, evaluating options from a large carrier portfolio, and providing customized solutions to mitigate household risk. Account Executives receive training in Salesforce, sales process management, business development, and related areas. This position is with a locally owned and operated Goosehead Insurance franchise; the Agency Owner, rather than Goosehead Insurance Agency, LLC, is the employer and is responsible for employment decisions.

Requirements

• Pass the state licensing exam once hired.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Have experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• Have B2B or B2C sales experience, or a related college major.
• Demonstrate a competitive attitude, networking abilities, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Have a problem-solving mentality and a self-motivated, hands-on, self-starter mindset.
• Have strong time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
