As an Account Executive, you will work at the intersection of digital marketing and a trusted media network, assisting businesses in connecting with customers across the full marketing funnel. You will partner with clients to understand their goals, build strategies using performance-driven digital solutions and the USA TODAY Network's reach, and deliver measurable outcomes. This role is part of a team that provides solutions to drive real business growth. The Account Executive role is a consultative, relationship-driven sales position focused on owning the full sales cycle, from net-new prospecting to long-term account growth. You will actively hunt for new business while also managing, growing, and expanding an existing client base. This involves creating tailored marketing strategies, guiding businesses from initial conversations through performance discussions, and identifying opportunities to deepen partnerships. You will act as a trusted marketing partner, balancing new business development with retention, upsell, and account expansion to drive long-term client value. The role is supported by a post-sales team for campaign performance, optimization, and reporting, as well as additional resources like the Data and Insights team and Client Strategists. In the first 90 days, you will gain confidence in LocaliQ’s solutions, tools, and sales approach, build prospecting and discovery habits, and begin owning your territory and sales cycle end-to-end with necessary support and coaching.
