About The Position

Account Executive @ Tilt Tilt (check us out here) is looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team and help us scale our business by managing the sales cycle end-to-end. You will manage inbound leads and partner referrals, demonstrate the software to prospective clients, negotiate, and finalize contracts. This position is a full-time role reporting to our Director of Sales. We want you to be successful here at Tilt! Below is a description of your role and responsibilities, including the things you will be held accountable for and the virtues, behaviors, and competencies that are expected for this role.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience, B2B SaaS and/or startups is a plus
  • Proven ability to demo and close new clients using value selling methodologies
  • Proven track record of quota attainment of at least $750k per year
  • A positive attitude and a strong desire to always be learning, making mistakes and helping others do the same
  • A bias for action, being ready to jump into the work and learn along the way
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management

Responsibilities

  • Managing inbound leads from multiple sources including channel partners, benefit brokers, inbound demand generation, and events
  • Personalized and intentional email and call follow-up for prospective customers
  • Scheduling and hosting demonstration calls for prospective customers
  • Drafting sales proposals; negotiating pricing and terms; coordinating with legal to manage the close (internally and externally); and interfacing with finance, IT, and security teams, as appropriate
  • Seamlessly handing off new customers to the Implementation and Customer Success Team
  • Managing a pipeline in Hubspot, keeping records up-to-date, and forecasting
  • Serve as the internal voice for your market segment
  • Contributing to internal strategy decisions for target market (conferences, webinars, marketing, partnerships etc.)
  • Managing multi-year contracts and amendments, as applicable
