Our team possess unrivaled expertise in all facets of the clean economy from renewable energy and sustainability to emerging technologies and policy. We are seeking an Account Executive with 2-4 years of experience to play a hands-on role supporting high-impact client campaigns including media relations, content development, thought leadership and digital strategy. You’ll collaborate with a seasoned team of specialized communicators to help clients—ranging from cleantech startups to renewable energy leaders—amplify their message, land earned media coverage and build thought leadership in the industry. The ideal candidate will have an interest in the clean energy landscape, have a knack for building relationships, and a proven track record fostering teamwork to deliver high-impact PR results. This position is full time hybrid with a minimum of 2 days per week in person in either Salt Lake City, Utah or Austin, Texas.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of public relations experience, ideally in clean energy, tech, or sustainability sectors. Prior agency experience preferred.
  • Strong interest in the energy transition
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with digital PR tools and analytics platforms.
  • A team player with a collaborative spirit and leadership qualities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate and assist in program brainstorming, development, and planning
  • Execute against public relations plans, product introduction strategies and special events, including budget tracking, material preparation
  • Schedules client-related team meetings and conference calls and/or events as needed
  • Take responsibility for junior level client relationships
  • Understand larger client timelines and priorities
  • Supports the overall organization and success of the account
  • Research, draft, edit and proofread press releases, and corporate communications materials
  • Nurture solid relationships with media and industry analysts
