About The Position

Our client, a leading provider of comprehensive IT Managed Services, Cloud Solutions, and Infrastructure, is seeking a high-performing Account Executive to drive growth across commercial, enterprise, and educational accounts in the Metro NYC and Connecticut region. We are looking for a strategic hunter who understands the evolving landscape of digital transformation and can consultatively sell complex technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven track record in prospecting, networking, and closing high-value service contracts.
  • Deep understanding of Managed IT Services, Cloud Infrastructure (SaaS/IaaS), and IT Staff Augmentation models.
  • Familiarity with the ecosystem of leading tech vendors (e.g., Microsoft/Azure, AWS, Cisco, Dell, VMware, and cybersecurity leaders like CrowdStrike or SentinelOne).
  • Ability to build relationships with internal sales teams, technology vendors, and channel partners to drive lead generation.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical proposals, including Statements of Work (SOW) and labor cost estimates.
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional communication, professional presentation skills, and the "consultative" ability to listen and solve complex client pain points.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and close new business ranging from local mid-market firms to international enterprise corporations.
  • Maintain and expand existing client relationships through regular business reviews and the introduction of new service tiers.
  • Identify opportunities across all product lines, including Managed Services (MSP), Cloud Hosting (AWS/Azure), Cybersecurity, and Staff Augmentation.
  • Work seamlessly with pre-sales engineers and project managers to ensure technical accuracy and exceptional service delivery.
  • Provide detailed sales forecasts and participate in regular account reviews via CRM.
  • Stay current on emerging IT trends, hybrid work technologies, and infrastructure best practices.
