About The Position

This role involves driving revenue and customer engagements for Amazon Web Services (AWS) within the not-for-profit financial services sector, including credit unions, pension funds, and mutual insurance organizations. The position focuses on increasing the adoption of AWS by helping these organizations modernize member experiences, deliver Agentic AI solutions, and migrate legacy infrastructure. The Account Executive will be responsible for shaping and executing a strategy focused on customer success, building mind share, and driving broad use of AWS services with named, mission-driven financial services organizations. The ideal candidate will possess sales and/or consulting experience in the geographic market, a strong understanding of FSI-specific challenges, and established relationships within the customer base and the consulting and SaaS partner community. This role requires a strong analytical thinker with a technical interest and a passion for financial services, who can operate in fast-paced environments. The individual must be a self-starter capable of developing and executing an account coverage plan with high-growth revenue targets, and experience with strategic engagement at the CxO level and with IT leadership and architects is critical.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry (banking/credit unions, payments, capital markets or insurance)

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory and within the credit union / financial services industry
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services specific to the CxO level.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline in Salesforce CRM.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Manage contract negotiations.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
