About The Position

Storm is an AI-native agency where AI tools and agentic workflows are central to how teams work. As an Account Coordinator, you will support Account Managers and client teams by translating client priorities, agreed direction, and account context into clear actions. You will help keep delegated work moving by tracking follow-ups, preparing updates, coordinating information, checking quality, supporting client communication, and ensuring stakeholders are informed. This is a German-speaking role requiring native or near-native spoken and written German, with the ability to confidently switch between English internal communication and German client-facing work, understanding nuance, tone, grammar, and cultural context. The role requires treating AI as a capable assistant, delegating whole pieces of work, critically reviewing AI output, and refining AI briefing and direction for compounding quality. You will learn the fundamentals of account teams, client support, and quality standards before utilizing Storm's AI and creative tools to improve the role. Storm Ideas is an international team founded in 2008, working with globally recognized clients in entertainment, media, technology, and online communities. They focus on the intersection of media, technology, creativity, and operations, building products, producing content, designing smarter workflows, and continuously improving operations. Storm Ideas is a remote-first, fast-moving company seeking better tools, systems, and ways of working, with AI being central to their operations.

Requirements

  • Native or near-native spoken and written German.
  • Strong written English.
  • Ability to move between English internal context and German client or community-facing outputs that feel natural, accurate, and audience-appropriate.
  • Clear, professional client communication skills, including providing useful status updates, asking focused questions, flagging risks early, and avoiding vague messages.
  • Demonstrable, hands-on use of AI tools and AI agents in real work, studies, or personal projects.
  • Strong judgment when reviewing AI output against the brief, context, audience, language quality, and client need.
  • Systems thinking approach: viewing repeatable work as a workflow to design and improve.
  • High agency and ownership: comfortable taking delegated work forward, identifying necessary actions, and driving improvements to completion.
  • Strong prioritization skills in a remote, async environment, including identifying time-sensitive tasks and communicating minor delays.
  • Good technical adaptability: ability to quickly learn new tools, trackers, documentation systems, AI workflows, and client processes, and to troubleshoot before escalating.
  • Strong attention to detail, maintained at speed: careful work checking before handover and maintaining high quality during rapid work.
  • Curiosity about media, entertainment, creators, online communities, and how client work is delivered at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers and client teams with delegated client tasks, account priorities, workflows, and coordination needs, using AI tools and agentic workflows as the default method.
  • Translate client requests, Account Manager direction, and account context into clear tasks, updates, handovers, next steps, or questions for the appropriate individuals.
  • Maintain organization and visibility of delegated work, ensuring actions, deadlines, decisions, approvals, blockers, status updates, tracker fields, and follow-ups are clear.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with Account Managers, collaborators, and clients, especially for time-sensitive matters or when delays, missing details, or unclear ownership could impact client experience.
  • Seamlessly transition between English and German work, understanding English internal context, producing natural German client or community-facing communication, and ensuring language accuracy, usefulness, and cultural appropriateness.
  • Own repeatable account workflows and delegated account processes, leveraging AI and improved workflows to enhance speed, structure, reliability, and quality over time.
  • Develop client, service, and strategy understanding to exercise better judgment, identify risks early, and escalate with clear context, options, and evidence when senior input is required.
  • Professionally coordinate stakeholders when feedback, assets, approvals, decisions, or commitments are missing or delayed.
  • Thoroughly review own work before handover, including a critical assessment of any AI-generated content.
  • Continuously improve work processes by encoding best methods into reusable skills and workflows for agents and teammates, and by teaching effective methods to the team.
