About The Position

RDO Equipment Co. is hiring a paid Access Your Future Service Intern to work at a sponsoring store while attending college. The intern learns hands-on alongside a skilled mentor, gaining experience diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing, assembling, and servicing equipment. The role also includes documenting machine details, repairs, parts, and fluids on service orders, and keeping the workspace, tools, and machines clean and organized. The internship is part of a program that may lead to full-time employment after graduation, with potential incentives including company-paid tools, a $5,000 graduation sign-on bonus, and up to $20,000 in financial incentives. The role is with RDO Equipment Co., an equipment and technology provider serving customers in the Red River Valley. The work is based at a sponsoring store in a small-town rural community with a renovated service shop and store, and a small, growing team.

Requirements

Be enrolled in or attending an approved Heavy Equipment Service, Diesel Technology, or technical service program recognized by RDO Equipment Co.
Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid attendance record to remain eligible for program benefits.
Have experience using mechanical tools while learning on the job.
Have strong computer skills and a passion for excellent customer service.
Have clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Learn alongside a skilled mentor to diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment.
Document machine details and repair work on service orders, including parts and fluids used.
Keep the workspace clean and organized and take care of tools and machines.
