Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health is currently seeking an Access Manager to join our team to implement consistent leadership support to the Admissions Team in order to effectively manage patient referrals and encourage optimal conversion in both the field and hospital settings. The Access Manager is an integral component of the leadership access team within the Admissions Department. For all service lines, the Access Manager is directly responsible for compliance with governing state and federal regulations and standards of care guidelines of outside accreditation agencies. This position has multiple direct reports including nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary admissions team. The Access Manager has the primary responsibility and authority for maintaining quality of patient care in accordance with the organization’s objectives and policies through planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the services provided to patients and families.
