Academic Success Coach
About The Position
Saint Xavier University is seeking a part-time registered nurse to support nursing students in achieving academic success. The coach meets with identified students face to face and via Zoom to guide them in nursing-course learning strategies and study skills, including test-taking strategies, time management, and prioritization. The role involves communication with faculty, students, and university departments, as well as use of academic technologies and Excel reporting. Requirements
- Illinois RN License.
- Ability to identify, develop, and implement learning strategies and study skills specific to nursing course materials.
- Attention to detail and flexible time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Excel and report generation.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with academic technologies such as Navigate, LMS, academic resources, and ATI; willingness to learn these technologies is also accepted.
Responsibilities
